Who we are

Goodheart Animal Sanctuaries is a UK-based charity dedicated to improving the lives of animals through rescue, education, and advocacy.

At the heart of our work is Goodheart Farm Animal Sanctuary, established in 2017 and now home to over 200 rescued animals, including cows, pigs, sheep, goats, chickens, alpacas, and more. Each resident has their own story and personality – and every one of them reminds us why compassion matters.

Our mission

We believe all animals are individuals who feel pain, experience joy, and deserve to live free from suffering. Yet millions of animals continue to endure unimaginable cruelty within the farming industry, where they are treated as commodities rather than sentient beings.

Our mission is to create a kinder world for animals by combining hands-on rescue, inspiring education, and powerful advocacy.

Our approach

• Rescue: We provide lifelong sanctuary to animals in need, offering them safety, comfort, and the freedom to live as they choose.
• Education: We believe lasting change begins with understanding. Through school visits, public outreach, and community engagement, we help people of all ages learn about farmed animals and the realities they face.
• Advocacy: We use our voice for the voiceless, challenging harmful systems and inspiring people to see animals as individuals. By encouraging more compassionate decisions, we aim to build a future where kindness and respect extend to all living beings.
