The Art of Compassion Project

Started in 2015 by Leigh Sanders, The Art of Compassion Project is an international art collective that aims to support the compassionate lifestyle of veganism by donating 100% of proceeds from various art projects to non-profit vegan organizations. Through this effort, we also aim to build a strong international community of vegan artists who share the same vision—to use their art as a means to spread the vegan message.

Currently, The AOC Project is supported by over 190 artists from 28 countries and continues to grow. Since our inception, we have raised funding through our various projects which have included online art auctions, art exhibitions and yearly calendars.  In addition to the projects we have coordinated online, we have had the incredible opportunity to exhibit vegan art and share what we do at expos, Vegfests, vegan festivals and markets throughout Europe, the UK, the US and China.
