We have an indoor area within Max’s Cafe, as well as a marquee adjoined, which leads out to our beautiful children’s play area, so you can enjoy a coffee & cake whilst the little ones burn off some steam!

Our plant-based café is named in memory of our beautiful, kind bull, Max, who came to us at only 4 days old. He was saved from the dairy industry where he was going to be killed for simply being male, and excess to requirements. We couldn’t think of a better mascot than our gentle boy who inspired so many to drop meat and take on a veggie or plant-based diet.

Why plant-based?

• Eating more plant-based meals lowers demand for meat, dairy, and eggs, which dramatically reduces animal suffering on factory farms around the world.
• Industrial farm animal production causes significant emissions of three key climate-changing gases, disrupting weather, temperature, and ecosystem health.
• Raising billions of animals for food each year contributes significantly to climate change, pollutes our air and water, and used a tremendous amount of land, water, and other precious natural resources.
