Magpye began in 2019, when we, Chris & Sarah, could not find the kind of pies we wanted to eat.

Our first pies were served from a converted trailer on Newcastle’s Quayside, with the Tyne in the background and a battered old oven behind us.

During lockdown we pivoted to an online pie shop and discovered there were thousands of people across the UK who wanted the same thing.

Plant powered pies that taste like the classics, with none of the compromise.

Magpye is run by a small team who do everything from making pastry to packing boxes and answering your emails.

When you order from Magpye you are supporting a real bakery in Northumberland, not a giant factory line.

We are proud of how far magpye has come, but it still feels like we are just getting started.

We are working on new products growing our list of stockists and exploring ways to bring Magpye to more pubs, cafes, and shops across the UK.
